“For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 4:6 – NIV)

This Sunday we thought about the question “what’s so great about light anyway?” Our Bible verse showed us that there are three amazing things about light, that God has made it, he has given it to us and it’s all because of Jesus. We remembered that Jesus is the ultimate example of light in darkness and were encouraged to seek out those opportunities to honour Jesus by living in his light and sharing that with others in our weeks ahead.
